Arlington Reservoir Phase II Project
The Town of Arlington has secured the services of Kyle Zick Landscape Architecture, Inc. (KZLA) to begin the design of Phase II renovations to the Arlington Reservoir. Following the guidance of the Reservoir Master Plan phase two of the project will include, but is not limited to, renovations and improvements to the following areas:
- Parking Lot
- Beach Entrance
- Bathing Beach and Grass Area of the Beach
- Bathhouse
- Playground
- Perimeter Trail
- New site amenities like benches, life guard stands, bike racks, etc.
- Improved accessibility and access through the landscape
- Fishing Areas
- Bird Viewing Areas & Other Passive Recreation Improvements
In order to assist us in the design process, the Park Commission and KZLA encourage the public to participate. As we are designing, we are hoping to get as much input a possible from the community. We have created an on-line survey and would like to ask some specific questions about how you use the Res, its trails, the park amenities, the swimming beach, etc. You may have answered questions similar to these during the master planning process, but since a few years have passed, we want to be sure that what we design and propose for the Res reflects the current desires of the community. There are two ways to complete the survey:
