In an effort to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and in compliance with Governor Baker’s shutdown extension, all Arlington Recreation Department programs and permits are cancelled or postponed currently through Monday, May 4th. This includes the closure of the Ed Burns Arena and Arlington Recreation Department Office. Arlington Recreation is currently working to determine refunds/credits for programs affected. We are also in discussions with instructors & vendors to determine how to move forward with current and future programs that have been/will be impacted by this closure (refunds, partial refunds, date changes, class extensions, etc.). All Kids Care Preschool and Afterschool participants will be receiving an email soon regarding program status and information relative to upcoming charge dates. If you are a participant in a recreation program, you can expect to receive an email in the coming days regarding class postponements, refunds, and cancellations. With this, we have also made the decision to suspend registration for all Spring/Summer 2020 programs until May 4th. We will continue to work with Town and State officials in regards to COVID-19. Once decisions have been made in regards to returning to normal activities and future program registration, we will notify everyone via our website (www.arlingtonrec.com) and social media accounts.
