Club Rec/Super Sports/Theatre @ Club Rec - CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19

• Each day includes water activities at Arlington Reservoir or at other water parks, science and nature, sports and games, arts and crafts, and other creative activities, just to name a few.
• Child-to-counselor ratio is approximately 10:1.
• Space is limited, early registration is encouraged.
• Early drop off and Extended Day options available (only to children attending a Club Rec, Super Sports or Theatre day program.)

• How do the children get to and from the Beach or parks? - A school bus will transport children to and from the Arlington Reservoir or other parks.
• What should my child bring to the program each day? - Children should arrive to the program each day wearing sneakers, active clothing, and sunscreen. They should bring a backpack carrying a water bottle, snack, lunch, bathing suit, towel, additional sunscreen, and change of clothes if desired. Peanut Alert! No Peanut Products Please! With a growing number of participants and staff having severe peanut allergies, we are asking that NO peanut products be brought to the program.
• What time does the program begin and end each day? - The full-day program begins at 9:00am and ends at 3:00pm daily. Please drop-off and pick-up on time.
• What are the “special activities”? - Special activities may include but are not limited to: painting and drawing, dance, soccer, jewelry making, basketball, drama, board games, and water play.

If you like Club Rec but want the emphasis to be on sports and games rather than participate in some of the other morning activities then this newer program is for you! Now you child can register for the sports component and focus their energy on playing sports all morning long. The program is part of Club Rec and will join the other campers at lunch and at the Reservoir or other water park each afternoon.

Summer just got more exciting! Theatre at Club Rec is an exciting new theatre program for students in grades 1-5 focused on building acting and improvisation skills. Each day students participate in exercises that are physical and literacy based, creative and fun!
Theatre at Club Rec culminates with a performance of our new work for friends and family on the final day each week. Theatre at Club Rec provides campers with instruction in acting techniques utilizing improvisation, monologues, pantomime, scenes and plays. We concentrate on developing campers skills in song delivery, movement, music, dancing and acting. Everyone who wants to be part of the show is guaranteed to be in the show.
Watch as you children blossom and shine! The performers will be working on their production 9:00am-12:00pm and will join Club Rec in the afternoon for swimming, fun and games at the Arlington Reservoir or Thompson Spray Park.
